Celebrate Recovery

Fridays at 6PM

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome and gain freedom from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. CR is designed as a program to help those struggling by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through their recovery process. CR is a safe place to address destructive or compulsive behaviors, unhealthy relationships, addictions (drugs, alcohol, food, pornography), anger, shame, codependency (addiction to people and control), past abuse and so much more. People can find freedom from any hurt, hang-up or habit that is making their life unmanageable.

There are 3 main components that make up the Celebrate Recovery program:
Large Group – This is where everyone meets together for a time of Worship and to hear either a recovery centered Teaching or a personal Testimony of a changed life. We consider this a “shoulder to shoulder” experience.

Open Share – This is the time we break into separate gender and issue specific groups where each person is safe to share their struggles and victories with others who share their similar hurts, hang-ups and habits. We consider this a “face to face” experience.

Step Study – It has been said that “you go to a meeting to feel better, but you work the steps to get better”.  Step Studies are a safe place to work through the Jesus-centered 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles in a gender specific group. They are a minimum 7-month commitment and meet on different nights of the week. It's a place where the “why” behind addictions and behavior can finally be uncovered and freedom can be found. We consider this a “heart to heart” experience.

Celebration Place

The mission of Celebration Place ministry is to help children experience the love of Jesus as they learn how to love themselves and others while they grow in their relationship with God. We strive to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families. Children also learn healthy coping skills for life’s tough issues.

Celebration Place is the approved children’s curriculum for Celebrate Recovery ministries for children ages 5-13 years of age. This Christ-centered curriculum mirrors the lessons taught in Large Groups for adults. A night in Celebration Place is broken down into Free Play, Worship, Teaching Time, Small Group, Centers and Closing.

The Landing

The mission of The Landing is to provide a safe place for our junior and senior high school students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, provide tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and point them toward the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

This curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery curriculum, only packaged for students. A typical night in the Landing will consist of Connect Time, Worship, Teaching Time, Small Group, and Fellowship Time.

Through the Landing, our students can find a safe place to find help, hope, and healing through engaging the recovery principles and growing in relationship with Jesus Christ. Ultimately, this ministry can help students learn how to break cycles of dysfunction and provide tools for them to live free and healthy lives.
