Sent on Mission to Your School

What if the place we least want to be is exactly where God most wants to use us? That is the question at the heart of this message, which challenges us to stop seeing school, work, or home as obligations and start seeing them as divine assignments. We looked at the reality that people cannot call on a Lord they do not believe in, they cannot believe in someone they have never heard of, and they cannot hear unless someone speaks the Gospel. That someone is us! The scripture strips away every excuse we might reach for and lands on a simple, unavoidable truth, that if our feet are there, we are sent to that place. We cannot simply hide behind good behavior alone, living a decent life is enough doesn't fully communicate the gospel, our actions, however admirable they may be, cannot by themselves tell the story of a crucified and risen Savior. Words must be spoken. The Gospel must be preached! This is a call to take seriously the mission field that already surrounds us every single day.
