The One with the Selfless Heart

In the final week of our FRIENDS series we take a look at the sacrificial way that Jonathan lived in his friendship with David.
Discussion Questions:
1) Pastor Zack discussed the sacrifice that Jonathan made for David. What does sacrifice look like when practically lived out?

2) When you look at your current friendships, what are the areas you could become more sacrificial?

3) Jonathan had dreamed his whole life of being the king, but God was looking to use David to be the next king. Imagine the sacrificial headset that would have taken! Jonathan had to have been extremely faithful in seeking God's will above his own. What does your time with God need to look like in order for you to lay down your wants for His will?

4) Discuss some of the things that you have taken from this past month's discussion regarding friendships.

5) Walking out of this friends series, what are the practical things that you need to begin living out in order for your friendships to have more substance? How can the rest of the group hold you accountable?
