The Hands of Jesus

May 3, 2026    Pastor Roy Mack

The message explored the miracle of the loaves and fish, the only miracle recorded in all four Gospels, and its direct application to our current season as a church. Just as Jesus commanded His disciples to feed the multitude with impossibly insufficient resources, He is calling us to step out in faith for what appears humanly impossible. The miracle didn't happen when the disciples assessed their lack—it happened when they placed what little they had into the hands of Jesus. This weekend, we stood at a crossroads: would we trust God with what He has given us, or would we let this opportunity pass by? The feeding of the 5,000 reminds us that Jesus' economy operates on multiplication, not our limited mathematics, and that significance isn't measured by the amount we give but by the heart posture with which we give it.
