Testing God

The message explored Malachi 3 and God's bold challenge for us to trust Him with our finances through tithing and generous giving. We examined how our relationship with money reveals our relationship with God, and how Jesus taught that we cannot serve both God and money. Through the parable of Johnny and his parents' anniversary gift, we saw how easy it is to claim love for God while our actual spending reveals different priorities. God promises that when we honor Him first with our finances, He will rebuke the devourer and open the windows of heaven to bless us. This isn't about earning God's favor—it's about demonstrating gratitude for His incredible generosity to us and inviting Him into every area of our lives, including our wallets.
