Abram's Faith

Nov 13, 2024    Pastor Kaleb Crabtree

1. Read Genesis 12:1-9 & Hebrews 11:8-10 together. What is it about Abram's faith that stands out as you read through this story? What might God want us to see about faith through Abram's life?

2. Read Hebrews 11:1. Discuss how you you personally would explain faith to someone who has never heard of it.

3. Who is a person in your life that you have witnessed have incredible faith? Who is this person and what about their faith has stood out to you? What are the things that you personally take away from their faith and apply in your own walk with the Lord?

4. Read 1 Chronicles 16:12. Why do you think it is important to create ways to remember different God moments throughout your life? What are some things that you personally have set up to remind yourself of the God moments that have happened throughout your life? Share some specific God moments that you have seen play out in your own life.

5. Read Mark 9:14-29. What about faith stands out in this story? Also, what does this story teach us about embracing the Lord in moments that having faith seems almost impossible?

6. Let's end the night by getting practical. Discuss an action step in your own personal life that God is calling you to take that will require faith. What is holding you back from placing faith in the Lord for this particular thing?

7. God works in our faith and shows up in ways that we may have never imagined possible. Talk about some examples from your own life that you've seen God show up in ways you may not have expected.

8. End the night by discussing some ways that The Well can help one another walk in faith and then pray specifically over one another's faith.
