The Wrap Up

Nov 30, 2022    Pastor Kaleb Crabtree
Just coming off of thanksgiving, take some time as a group to express gratitude. How have you seen God work in your life over the past 11 months? With this being the last Life Group of the year, we want to spend some time reflecting on how we’ve seen God working. Once you’ve taken some time to discuss these things, take a few minutes and have a few people pray and give thanks for all of the things that God has done that we’ve seen in our lives. Giving thanks ought to be the posture of our life all the time. Read 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 together. What stands out in this passage? How does it challenge you in your personal life? Spend some time discussing as a group if you find gratitude to be difficult in hard circumstances. Why do you think that is, and how can you grow in gratitude regardless of your circumstances? Talk about the spiritual changes you want to see in your life in 2023. What areas do you want to grow? Why in those areas specifically? As you discuss this, have one person keep a note of everyone's spiritual goals. Take some time to pray over these specific areas. Be intentional as a group to look back on these things through the upcoming year and help one another grow in these. Read 1 Timothy 4:12 together as a group. This has been our anchor verse for the While I’m Young series. Talk about those 5 areas (speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity) how you have grown in each of them over the last 2 months as we’ve walked through this series. Is there anything in this verse that stands out now or challenges you differently than when we started? For the last question of the night, discuss as a group some of the things you’d want to study in the upcoming year. As we plan the content and lay it out for 2023, we want to hear from you guys on the things that you think would be beneficial to study. Create a list of these things and why they’d be beneficial series to discuss and send them to Kaleb at the end of the night.
