On Earth as It Is in Heaven

1. Read 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Pastor Kaleb talked about how the temple represented God's presence in the Old Testament and that all changed with Jesus. Does this change your understanding of this passage of scripture at all? If yes, how so? Do you have any thoughts about this passage of scripture that stand out to you?

2. What do you think about when you see the phrase “on earth as it is in heaven”?

3. Kaleb talked about how this is a request to God to use us as heaven and earth merge, until the moment Jesus comes to get his church. Why is this such an important request and high calling on our lives?

4. What are some things you can personally be doing to allow God to bring heaven to earth through your life? Discuss some specific situations in your life that you can be a part of.

5. Our desire should be that our lives be used to bring heaven to earth every moment of every day! What spiritual disciplines do you need to have in place in order to do this? Which specifically do you need to focus on more?
