Week Five

Jun 30, 2021    Pastor Kaleb Crabtree

1. Read Matthew 5:6 together as a group. What does it mean to “hunger and thirst for righteousness”? What does this look like practically.

2. David said that there are 2 types of righteousness; “Imputed Righteousness” (2 Corinthians 5:21), and “Practical Righteousness” (1 Timothy 6:11). Recap the difference between these two types of righteousness.

Why is the pursuit of “practical
righteousness” essential for us as
believers? How can we grow in practical
righteousness?

3. Read Revelations 3: 14-22 together as a group. “There’s not a person more miserable than the lukewarm Christian.” Have you in the past, or are you currently struggling with lukewarmness? As Christians, how can we overcome seasons of lukewarmness?
