“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you” Psalm 9:10.
David understood that the help of God wasn’t given just because God favored some and opposed others. It was because His people have faith in Him. If we know the character of God, we can have faith that He will finish what He’s started. Faith is a big deal, it’s a necessary step. To fully submit to God every step of the way, you first must be completely confident in who He is. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all about you. He’s ready to walk with you through His plan because He loves you unconditionally.
When it comes to your future, God’s not looking for your capability; He’s looking for your availability. Maybe you’re ignoring the plan because you think it’s only for “them” and not for you. Maybe it’s not that God hasn’t chosen you or that your past is too messed up, but that you’re too busy waiting to get perfectly right with Him before you think you can be used. It’s time to stop waiting for perfect conditions. God doesn’t need you to be perfect. He needs you to show up with faith and a fiery passion. He needs you to say, “I’m All In for His glory!”
Prayer: Thank you God that I don’t have to be perfect. Thank you for loving me just as I am and allowing me to serve you today. Give me faith to believe that you are who you say you are and that you are capable to fulfill all your promises.
