March 21
Reading: Numbers 13 & 14:1-19
Perspective is everything. What we choose to see and focus on steers our hearts and our beliefs.Ten of the spies chose to see the giants and the obstacles in the way of God fulfilling His promises. They were so focused on what they could see in the moment they forgot that this same God who promised to give them this land had already split the sea for them to escape slavery. He provided them with food from heaven. He guided them by cloud each day and by fire each night. They had seen Him working and moving with them every day, but on this day they chose to see the obstacles. I pray that our church never becomes numb to seeing God work. I pray we always choose to see where He is working, and we would have faith that He is who He says He is and He will do what He says He will do. When we choose faith, we often get to see Him do amazing things.
Prayer: God I want to choose faith. Help me to see today where you are working in my life and in those around me. Give me perspective to see how great and powerful you are. I trust that you will guide us and fulfill every promise you make.
